Risks to the Family
It is important to say that people only need to make small adjustments to reduce any risk to their family at home so try not to be overly concerned although it is natural to worry.
A little change to storing personal items
Simply keep any personal items that can nick or cut in a wash bag or cup separate from those of family memebers. These can contain tiny traces of blood that are not necessarily visible. This includes common toiletry items such razors, toothbrushes (cut gums), nail brushes and nail clippers which can nick or cut the skin.
Cuts and blood spills
Accidents happen at home. Clean up any blood spills properly and cover any open cuts/wounds with a waterproof plaster as soon as possible by following 4 simple steps.
